    Solid keyboard case for money

Posted by S. Doerr on Jan 6th 2023

Premium feel great keyboard case durable pretty good quality magnet is like super glue iPad never falls the one flaw is that if freezes to much and needs to be closed then reopened and the back light keyboard isn¡¯t the best feels a bit cheap/dim with only one color option to boot.

Such an awesome surprise!! The keyboard arrived with complimentary pencil. Both work without errors. Really easy to pair and long battery life.

    My favorite ipad keyboard cover!

Posted by ObsidianFlow on Nov 30th 2022

so far this is the best iPad cover I have used. The cover works well and fits well on my 11-inch iPad Pro. The material is soft to the touch and comfortable to rest your hand on when typing. The touchpad is sensitive and very clicky when pressed. One Feature I really like is the magnetic flip tab, it will hold the apple pencil perfectly while closed, so you don't have worry about the pencil falling off the iPad.I like the material but I'm not sure how durable it is. I see a small cut on the side of the keyboard.

    Works great!

Great keyboard/case combo that fit perfectly. It¡¯s not a heavy duty case, but will work well for adults who know how to take care of their things. And it came with a bonus stylus pen!

    Works great!

This is perfect if you want a keyboard for your iPad and it's so much cheaper than the namebrand options. It also came with an offbrand iPad pencil, which was a happy surprise. I've had zero issues with it and it attaches very securely. The only thing I absolutely could not figure out for ages is how to power it on/off. The instructions insist "Power on/off: double-click" but double-click WHAT? Eventually, I discovered that it's the weird barely-visible imprint in the top of the keyboard that doesn't look like a button at all. It's pretty awkward to press (especially double-press) when you have the iPad angled out, but that's really my only complaint.

    Decent Alternative

Posted by Pedro on Nov 16th 2022

The media could not be loaded. ?When closed, this case is thick and feels protective. The magnetic feature is pretty strong as well. However, when it is open and in the stand position, there are some flaws. One thing that I noticed was that there was a lot of swaying with the ipad when minimal force was applied. This is fine if you just plan on using this on a desk. I also found it difficult to reach the numbers on the keyboard and found it awkward to reach for the power button on the keyboard; there isn't enough room to accommodate my fingers comfortably. Also, there is really only one open position that the ipad can be in; it does not extend further which can be troublesome if you plan on using the pen like I was. I had to remove the ipad from the stand (which is easy due to the magnets), but it leaves the ipad vulnerable since another case cannot be used in tandem with this one.The keyboard came in handy when typing out answers for homework. It's also good for typing out notes when handwriting is too slow. The trackpad feels good, but the tracking of the mouse is awkward on an ipad (not the keyboard's fault).Overall, I found myself using this as more of a convenient stand for the ipad. If I needed to use the pen, the ipad was easily accessible to remove. The battery on the keyboard was not an issue I had to worry about often.

Great keyboard case for iPad pro 11"

Posted by mdshahan on Nov 16th 2022

This keyboard case has been great so far. It comes very nicely packaged and they even included a "surprise" stylus (model AC105) which is awesome. I did find one of the USB cables underneath the interior packaging...so double check before throwing away anything.First thing I noticed was the weight of it...feels very solid and well made. When installed, it feels more like you're carrying a small laptop computer. The outside is a slightly grippy subtle grey pattern that continues around the keyboard, and has a felt like surface where the iPad attaches. Magnet strength is good and I haven't had any trouble with the iPad shifting or falling out, but it's still easy to take on and off. They backlit keyboard can cycle through 7 different color options.Stability has been great too...with the screen leaned back as far as it will go, I have to tilt the whole thing back past the 45 degree point before it will fall over. I wish the screen could tilt backwards just a bit more, but not by much.It includes a touchpad "cheat sheet", which does take some getting used to if you haven't used something like this with an iPad before, but I've found typing and the touchpad to be very responsive. The bonus pen has also been nice, allowing you to handwrite into search fields, activate the camera and a few other functions typical of these types of pens.My only other complaint would be that the top row of keyboard buttons, and especially the power button in the upper right above the keys can feel a little tight for larger fingers when the screen is leaned back, but not a big deal.Overall I've been very happy with it, and would certainly consider purchasing more from Uogic.

Stable base when open, nice keyboard for touch typing.

Posted by Tim R. on Nov 14th 2022

I decided to try this iPad case because i wanted a keyboard more ¡°touch type¡± friendly. My previous case had a right ¡°shift¡± key that was the same size as a normal key! This one has a FULL-Sized shift key! Love it! Also has a usb-C charging port that matches the ipad. And is on the same side as the ipad when the ipad is mounted. The ipad holder tilts another slight angle after you open the case. It helps the stability of the case. If you use the number key via ¡°touch typing¡± the bottom of the ipad could get in the way depending on the height of your finger swing. It doesn¡¯t impede my typing. Sometimes it interferes with my use of the backspace. But just a light feel of the bottom of the ipad. Not much at allI haven¡¯t mastered all the ¡°fun¡± light functions. And how to turn on and change the brightness/colors. But there is a little cheat sheet on the keyboard, as well as the icons on the keys.To turn on/off the keyboard you double tap the power at the top right of the keyboard. But I¡¯ve just left it on during my using. Not sure if it has a sleep function but it hasn¡¯t lost power and works great.I also like the little flap that secures the case shut. I think it¡¯s more of a secure strap for the pencil. Definitely helps it stay attached to the magnetic holder/charger of the iPadThere isn¡¯t a way to turn or mount the ipad in portrait mode, so you have to remove the ipad to do things that require portrait mode. You can move the whole case (of course) but not really a way to use the keyboard comfortably.Still Love it!

I didn't believe my iPad could replace my laptop

Posted by J. Kelley on Nov 12th 2022

I'm a long time iPad user who never really bought into the hype about it replacing my laptop. After getting this keyboard, I'm a believer. I've stayed away from the apple keyboards primarily due to the high price so this review is from the perspective of a first time keyboard user. For the price, this one is amazing. The integration is seamless, connect it via bluetooth and everything "just works". Most of the keyboard shortcuts I'm used to with my MacBook work flawlessly. I find myself using the trackpad more than I thought, all the multi finger touch/swipes from the MacBook work there too. The internal battery recharges with the same usb-c as the iPad, so that's one less cable to haul around. Overall this is a great value.Pros:Recharges via USB-CBacklighting - 3 levels of brightness, can be RGB or just whitegood battery lifeCons:limited tilt angle of the tabletkeys are not very protected from dust/dirt
